THINGS TO CARRY WITH YOU AT A CONVENTION

It is important to plan and prepare before going to a convention and packing the right things to carry with you can make you not be frustrated and to actually enjoy your time at a convention. Here are some of the things you can carry at a convention to make your experience amazing.

CELLPHONE

It is important to carry a cellphone at a convention. You can use your cellphone to communicate with your friends when you are at different areas in the convention and also communicate to someone when there is an emergency. You can also use your cellphone to download the con schedule, document your great moments in the convention and share your photos and videos on social media.

MONEY

You can bring cash or a credit card in a wallet when going to a convention. Who knows what could happen at a con. You may see something and you need to buy it or something may happen and when you have extra money, this would be convenient for you.

NAPKINS OR BABY WIPES

When you spill something on your costume or you want to wipe something off your face or hands, these may come in handy.

WATER AND SNACKS

You need to carry a snack with you at a convention to keep your energy up throughout the day and stay hydrated. You can carry a granola or any snack of your choice because not eating can not only lead to you being super cranky but it can also lead to bad breath which is not good. You can also buy snacks at the convention incase you do not carry them.

MAKEUP ITEMS

For cosplayers who wear makeup, you can carry a makeup palette or makeup pouch. You can redo your make up incase your mascara gets smudged or redo your lips after eating. You can also carry a contact lenses case if you are wearing contacts.

BOBBY PINS AND HAIR TIES

If you are wearing a wig, you can carry some bobby pins and hair ties just in case. If you are a girl, pack some toiletries. It is better to be safe than sorry because you never know what can happen at a con.

DEODORANT OR PERFUME

Bring at least one of these things to ensure you smell good throughout the day.

PINS,THREADS AND NEEDLES

It is important to carry these to be prepared incase of an emergency. If your costume tears, you will be able to repair it instead of walking around at a convention with a hole in your cosplay.

COSPLAY CARDS OR BUSINESS CARDS

This is optional. If you are a cosplayer, you can bring these with you and give to new people you meet so that they can contact you later. This can help you grow your brand as a cosplayer.

PORTABLE PHONE CHARGER

When you go to a convention, you tend to use your phone a lot so your battery can die fast. It is convenient to carry a portable phone charger incase this happens.
